Modified Huck Finn Returns to Elgin Pond April 27th!

Families will now be able to fish at Elgin Pond at their leisure all season long, starting April 27th, the beginning of fishing season.  Keep an eye out for Boomer the Bass as he will be out and about May 4th, 11th and 25th, surprising lucky anglers with prizes sponsored by Canadian Tire Uxbridge!  This is a free event, registration not required!

Event Guidelines:

  • Participants under the age of 18 or over the age of 65 do not require an outdoors card or fishing licence. All others require a licence. Learn more about getting an Outdoors Card or a Fishing licence.
  • Participants must follow catch and possession limits.
  • Fishing may only be done in season.
  • The road will not be closed for this festival. Please use caution crossing the street.
  • Children must be supervised.
  • There is no smoking or vaping of any substance in Township parks or on Township property.
  • Cars illegally parked will be ticketed.
