Fields of Uxbridge Registration and Fees

Permit Parking will be in effect at the Fields of Uxbridge adjacent to the Skate Park and Pump Park and designated nearby streets. Permit parking will be established through the use of a mobile application. Residents will be required to register for a free parking permit. Non-Residents (visitors) will be required to pay for their parking permit.

General

Q. Why is the Township charging for parking?

 

A. Parking revenues will contribute to maintaining and developing future amenities at the Fields of Uxbridge.

 

Q. When is a parking permit required?

 

A. A parking permit is required to park in designated areas at the Fields of Uxbridge at all times.

 

Q. Can I park on the road or elsewhere on the site?

 

A. Roads adjacent to the Fields of Uxbridge are designated “No Parking” zones. Always follow posted signs at the site.

 

Q. How much are parking tickets if we don’t obtain a permit?

 

A. The fine for parking without a permit at the Fields of Uxbridge is $45.00.

 

Q. What will the Township do with the revenue collected from parking permits?  

 

A.  Revenue from the parking permits will be placed in reserve and used for maintenance and improvements to the Fields of Uxbridge.

 

Q. Do people using the soccer facilities need to pay to park?

 

A. The parking at the Soccer facility is managed by the Soccer Club. When a soccer event is occurring, the Club will open the gates to the Soccer parking area. There is no charge for parking in the Soccer parking lot when it is open. If a vehicle is parked in the Skate or Pump park lot it does require a valid parking permit, even if the person is parking there to use a soccer facility. We advise those using soccer facilities not to park in the Skate or Pump park lot.

 

Q. Do people using the baseball diamonds need to pay to park?

 

A. The Baseball Association will distribute information to their members about parking adjacent to the Baseball field when the field is open for use.

 

Q. Is my personal information stored in your computer system? What happens to my personal data?

 

A. No, the details we need to verify your residency and to record your vehicle are only used to set up the account. Once verification is established the information is discarded.

Resident
 

Q. I’m a resident do I need to pay to park?

 

A. Residents will not be charged to park at the Fields of Uxbridge lot as long as they have registered their vehicles on the parking permit system. Each time you visitthe resident will need to activate the parking permit at the site (via QR code signs) to avoid getting a ticket.

 

Q. I’m a resident, why do I need to register for the parking permit system?

 

A. Township by-law officers will scan licence plates of vehicles at Permit Parking sites. Residents plates must be registered in our system in order for By Law to determine that the permit is valid.

 

Q. How does the Township define who is a “resident”?

 

A. The Township will use data from the applicants Driver’s Licence to determine residency. If a resident requires assistance to register for a permit they can contact Town Hall. 

 

Q. I am a resident but I drive a car registered outside of the Township. Does that matter?

 

A. The Township will use data from the applicants Driver’s Licence to determine residency. If a resident requires assistance to register for a permit they can contact By Law services.

 

Q. Do I have to register for parking every time I visit the Fields of Uxbridge?

 

A. Yes. Each time you use the permit parking at the Fields of Uxbridge you will need to scan the on site QR code to validate your cars license for that day. 

Visitor

 Q. How long is a visitor parking permit valid for?

 

A. Visitor permit parking is valid during regular Park hours. Please see posted signs for permitted use. 

 

Q. How much are the parking tickets if I don't obtain a permit?

 

A. The fine for parking without a permit at the Fields of Uxbridge is $45.00
