Restoration Work Begins On Library Clock Tower

One of the Township of Uxbridge’s most cherished buildings is getting a facelift and structural repairs, resulting in some of the masonry and brickwork being restored, the decorative woodwork to be refinished and the wooden louvres replaced. On the interior of the circa-1887 tower, workers will install framing and bracing, improve access platforms and install a permanent access ladder.
