Call for applications to the Thriving Communities Fund

Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham is accepting applications to the Thriving Communities Fund. This fund supports local non-profit organizations with helping to prevent and/or reduce poverty for Durham Region residents.

What: The Thriving Communities Fund supports operational and/or capacity building activities that strengthen the ability to deliver key programs and services. The 2024 funding limit is up to a maximum of $50,000 per approved application. 

When: The deadline for non-profit organizations to apply is May 13, 2024, at noon.

Why: Durham Region’s non-profit sector provides important programs and services to support residents of all ages and stages. Through supporting community non-profits, we will help build a stronger Durham.
