Accessibility awards

Each year, we recognize businesses and individuals that have worked to improve accessibility within the Township through the Township of Uxbridge Accessibility Awards.


Contact us if you would like to nominate a resident or local business who has helped to increase accessibility in our community. All nominations are due by the third week of October.

Parking and transportation

In order to make it easier for you to get around town, the Township of Uxbridge offers accessible parking spaces and requires local businesses to offer them as well. You can also access accessible public transit options.

Accessibility Advisory Committee

The Township of Uxbridge Accessibility Advisory Committee works with council to make sure that the Township of Uxbridge is barrier free, inclusive and accessible to everyone.
