With soaring temperatures, the Township of Uxbridge would like to advise residents to stay hydrated, avoid over-exertion and to monitor the well-being of at-risk individuals such as young children, the elderly or those who have compromised health. 

The Township has opened various facilities as cooling centres and residents are invited to visit any of the following facilities:

  • Township Municipal Office (51 Toronto St. S., Uxbridge)
    • 8:30am-4:30pm Monday to Friday
  • Uxbridge Public Library (9 Toronto St. S.)
    • Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 10:00am-5:00p.m.
    • Tuesday, Thursday 10:00a.m-8:00p.m.
    • Sunday 10:00a.m.-4:00p.m.
  • Uxbridge Seniors Centre (75 Marietta St.)
    • Monday-Friday 9:00a.m.-4:30p.m.
