Fire Permits Now Available Through Permit Central

The Township of Uxbridge is pleased to announce that open air fire permits are now available online through Permit Central, the Township’s permit application platform. Some exclusions will apply. For example, oversized fire permits will still require an in-person visit to the Fire Hall at 301 Brock St. West and will require an initial site inspection and a follow up inspection every two years thereafter.

Permit Central is already being used to issue a variety of Township permits, including road occupancy, overweight loads, and municipal consent. With the addition of fire permits, the platform continues to expand its offerings, making it easier for residents and businesses to access the services they need in one convenient location.

The online system streamlines applications, improves efficiency, and provides a user-friendly experience. For residents who prefer to apply in person, fire permits will continue to be available at the Uxbridge Fire Hall.
