Environment Canada issued a heat warning on July 28th for the Township of Uxbridge and the surrounding area. A humid airmass has reached the region. Daytime maximum temperatures are expected to reach 30 to 33 degrees Celsiuswith humidex values between 38 to 42.

Residents seeking relief from the heat may visit Town Hall in Uxbridge between 8:30am and 4:30pm. The Uxbridge Library is also offering relief from the heat during regular business hours. Please see Contact – Uxbridge Public Library (uxlib.com) for hours of operation.  

The Uxpool has public swimming available Monday, July 28th and Tuesday, July 29th from 7:00-8:00p.m.

The Splash Pad is also open daily from 9:00a.m.-9:00p.m.
