Environment Canada issued a heat warning from August 9th to the 12th for the Township of Uxbridge and the surrounding area. A humid airmass has reached the region. Daytime maximum temperatures are expected to range from 30 to 33 degrees Celsius with humidex values of 35 to 40.

Residents seeking relief from the heat may visit Town Hall in Uxbridge between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. Uxbridge Library is also offering relief from the heat during regular business hours. Please see Contact – Uxbridge Public Library (uxlib.com) for hours of operation.   

The Uxpool has public swimming available Saturday, August 9th and Sunday, August 10th from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. and Tuesday, August 12th from 7:30-8:30 p.m. The Splash Pad is also open daily from 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.
