This June, the Township of Uxbridge is participating in the national ParticipACTION Community Challenge, an annual initiative that encourages Canadians to get active in a friendly competition to crown Canada’s Most Active Community.
Communities across the country will track their physical activity levels throughout the month of June. The most active community will earn the title and a grand prize of $100,000 to invest in local physical activity and sport programs. Additional prizes ranging from $7,500 to $15,000 will also be awarded to other high-performing communities.
To help Uxbridge compete for the top prize, the Township is calling on all residents and organizations to get involved.
