The following property to be of Cultural Heritage Value and Interest Pursuant to the Provisions of the Ontario Heritage Act (R.S.O. 1990, Chapter 0.18)
Take Notice that the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Uxbridge has passed by-law 2025-077 under Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter 0.18, designating the following lands to be of cultural heritage value and interest:
6800 Concession Road 6 (PT LT 29 CON 5 UXBRIDGE AS IN YKU1343; UXBRIDGE), known as the Quaker Meeting House;
Further information regarding the heritage designation of the Quaker Meeting House, including a full description of the reasons for designation, can be obtained by contacting the Uxbridge Heritage Committee at heritage@uxbridge.ca
Anyone who objects to this by-law may appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal by giving the Tribunal and the Township Clerk, within thirty (30) days of the publication of this notice, a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the By-law and the reasons in support of the objection, accompanied by the fee charged by the Tribunal.
