Notice of Passing By-Law to Designate

The following property to be of Cultural Heritage Value and Interest Pursuant to the Provisions of the Ontario Heritage Act (R.S.O. 1990, Chapter 0.18)

 

Take Notice that the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Uxbridge has passed By-law 2025-022 under Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter 0.18, designating the following lands to be of cultural heritage value and interest:

14800 Regional Road 1 (Firstly: Part Lot 34 Concession 6 Scott and Part Lot 106, Plan 64 as in ST325, ST4509; Secondly: Part Lot 34, Concession 6 Scott, Part 22, 40R23286 Township of Uxbridge), known as the Udora United Church;

Further information regarding the heritage designation of the Udora United Church, including a full description of the reasons for designation, can be obtained by contacting the Uxbridge Heritage Committee at heritage@uxbridge.ca

Anyone who objects to this by-law may appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal by giving the Tribunal and the Township Clerk, within thirty (30) days of the publication of this notice, a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the By-law and the reasons in support of the objection, accompanied by the fee charged by the Tribunal.
