Open Air Fire Ban Lifted Effective August 20th

The Township of Uxbridge has lifted the temporary open air fire ban, effective 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

The Uxbridge Fire Department is advising all residents to remain vigilant and practice caution when conducting outdoor burning. Recent dry weather and accumulated dead grass have significantly elevated the risk of grass fires in the area.

Please be reminded that a permit is mandatory for all outdoor burning activities.
