PUBLIC NOTICE

The Township adopted the Uxbridge Urban Area Residential Servicing Allocation Reservation Policy 2025 (Residential Allocation Policy) in March 2025.  

A copy of the Residential Allocation Policy and related application form is available online on the Township’s Website here and in the Development Services Department at Town Hall, 51 Toronto Street South.

The Region of Durham is responsible for wastewater and water services under statute and has the ultimate authority over such services. The Residential Allocation Policy was developed in conjunction with the Region of Durham and is to be used as a basis for the reservation of wastewater treatment and water servicing capacity by the Township for residential development in the Uxbridge Urban Area.

In accordance with the Residential Allocation Policy, the Township will consider once a year any   applications for a reservation for a plan of subdivision or condominium based on the most recent capacity tracking information from the Region.

NOTICE is hereby provided that the Township will be considering applications for servicing allocation reservation at 10:30 am on Monday, May 5, 2025, and that persons must submit all applications to the Township by no later than Friday, April 18, 2025, in order for applications to be considered.
