Regional facilities and services impacted due to inclement weather

Today (January 15)
Due to the inclement weather, some Regional facilities and services are either closed or experiencing disruptions, including:

• The Ontario Works office in Uxbridge (2 Campbell Drive, Unit 301/305) is closed today.

• The Waste Management Facilities in the Township of Scugog (1623 Reach Street) and the City of Oshawa (1640 Ritson Road North), as well as the Household Special Waste Depot in the Municipality of Clarington (1998 Bowmanville Avenue), are delayed in opening; details about the opening of these facilities will be shared when available. The Waste Management Facility in the Township of Brock (C22480 Brock Sideroad #17) is open.

• Residential waste collection operations are ongoing, but curbside collections are delayed today. Residents should keep their materials at the curb until collected.
