Township Announces Press Conference Regarding Culvert Project

The Township of Uxbridge will host a press conference on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Township Municipal Office (51 Toronto Street South) to present and discuss the Culvert Construction Project.

The event is open to members of the media and the public and will be held in a hybrid format. Interested individuals may attend in-person or join online at www.uxbridge.ca/agendas

Township staff, members of Council, and legal representatives will be in attendance, including Mayor Dave Barton, who will address the audience and respond to questions. The press conference will provide an overview of the final outcomes of the project and offer community members an opportunity to have their questions answered.

“This was the largest municipal project in 100 years, and we are committed to full financial transparency,” Mayor Barton said. “We want the public to understand the results of this long-running project.”
