The Township of Uxbridge’s Parks and Trails Department invites community members to explore the new self-guided Forest Therapy Trail, a brand-new walk designed to promote mindfulness and well-being.

The Forest Therapy Trail is a self-guided experience that leads visitors on a journey through Elgin Park, helping them connect with the natural world around them. Forest Therapy is the practice of spending intentional time in nature, with an emphasis on engaging the senses and appreciating its natural beauty. It offers proven benefits for both the mind and body and is a great way to reduce stress.

The trail includes five reflection points, each designed to help you connect one of your senses with nature. The interactive guide features yoga poses, breathing exercises, listening activities, and more.

You can begin your journey at the lookout over Elgin Pond.
