The Township of Uxbridge is pleased to announce the successful completion of a key land assembly initiative, paving the way for the transformation of its downtown core. With this milestone reached, the Township is preparing to issue a Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI), a critical step in identifying a qualified purchaser and developer for the site.

The official announcement was made this afternoon in Council Chambers. Mayor Dave Barton was joined by members of Council, and representatives of the Uxbridge Downtown Revitalization Advisory Committee (UDRAC) to mark the advancement of this project.

As part of the next phase, the Township has issued a Market Sounding Opportunity.  Interested parties are asked to contact the Township by July 4th to request a meeting to discuss the opportunity.

A Request for Expressions of Interest is expected to launch in early July. Expression of Interest (EOI) submissions will be evaluated against the criteria outlined in the RFEI. Shortlisted parties will then be invited to enter into negotiations with the Township.

“We’re looking for a development partner who shares our passion for community-building and smart growth. Together, we can shape a downtown that serves residents, attracts visitors, and drives long-term prosperity.” said Mayor Dave Barton. “This is a rare opportunity to contribute to a legacy project that will define Uxbridge’s downtown for generations to come.”
