The Township of Uxbridge is excited to announce a brand-new lineup of Themed Public Skate Nights at the Uxbridge Arena, running from October 31 through December 27. Each week offers a fresh theme, lively music, and plenty of fun for skaters of all ages.

The series kicks off on October 31 with a Halloween Haunt Skate and continues every Friday night through the holiday season. Skaters are encouraged to dress up according to the theme and join in the fun!

Schedule of Themed Skates:

  • October 31 – Halloween Haunt (4:00 – 5:00 p.m. & 8:00–9:30 p.m.)
    Kick off the season with a spook-tacular night on the ice! Dress up in your favourite costume and enjoy Halloween tunes.
  • November 8 – All Canadian Classic (7:00–8:00 p.m.)
    Skate to a playlist of Canadian favourites — from The Tragically Hip to Shania Twain — and join in games celebrating everything that makes Canada great.
  • November 15 – Boots and Blades (7:00–8:00 p.m.)
    Dust off your cowboy hats and plaid! Enjoy a country-themed night of music and fun.
  • November 22 – Neon Glow Party (7:00–8:00 p.m.)
    Light up the rink for a bright, energetic glow-in-the-dark skate with upbeat pop and dance hits.
  • November 29 – Skate Through the Decades (7:00–8:00 p.m.)
    Travel through time with music from the ‘70s to the 2000s. Dress for your favourite decade and join the nostalgia.
  • December 6 – Disney Dress-Up (7:00–8:00 p.m.)
    Bring your imagination to life! Come dressed as your favourite Disney character for a magical night on the ice.
  • December 13 – Taylor Swift Night (7:00–8:00 p.m.)
    Calling all Swifties! Skate through every era of Taylor’s music — costumes and friendship bracelets encouraged.
  • December 20 – Candy Cane Lane (7:00–8:00 p.m.)
    The rink will sparkle with holiday lights and peppermint cheer as you skate to festive favourites.
  • December 27 – Cheers to the New Year (7:00–8:00 p.m.)
    Ring in 2026 with music, lights, and laughter. Celebrate the season and wrap up the year on the ice.

All themed skates will take place at the Uxbridge Arena (291 Brock Street West). Regular public skate admission rates apply.
