NOTICE OF STATUTORY PUBLIC MEETING
The Planning Committee of the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Uxbridge is holding a Statutory Public Meeting. The public meeting will provide interested parties the ability to learn more about the proposal and provide any comments and feedback before any decisions are made on these applications. The statutory public meeting will be held in a hybrid format allowing for in-person attendance or virtual participation in the public meeting. The Hybrid Statutory Public Meeting will be held on:
Monday, September 15, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.

Residents can attend the meeting in person, or view the meeting livestream by visiting https://www.uxbridge.ca/en/your-local-government/council-meeting-calendar.aspx.
Any person may participate in the public meeting and/or make written or oral representation either in support or in opposition to the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment and/or Draft Plan of Subdivision.

Proposal |
The applicant is proposing a residential subdivision consisting of seven (7) lots for detached dwellings. Vehicular access to the development is proposed through a northernly extension of Birdie Smith Court, and a new municipal road connection to Regional Road 1. Draft Plan of Subdivision. |

Planning Act Requirements |
This Notice is given in accordance with the requirements of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1998, c. P.13, as amended. A final recommendation on the application will not be presented until after the Township Public Meeting and all technical comments have been received. The applicant, a specified person (as defined by the Planning Act), a public body (as defined by the Planning Act), and a registered owner of land to which the by-law would apply, each have the ability to appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal a decision of the Township of Uxbridge to pass a by-law in response to the application. If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Council of the Township of Uxbridge to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to Council c/o the Township Clerk at the address shown below or at dleroux@uxbridge.ca, before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision. If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to Council c/o the Township Clerk at the address shown below or at dleroux@uxbridge.ca, before the by-law was passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so. |
