Beginning December 6, 2021 the Arena and Community Centre is resuming all public programs. 

Come out to the Uxbridge Arena and Community Centre for one of our drop-in skating programs, suitable for all ages and abilities. All public programs are drop-in only. No pre-registration required. Participants must arrive no later than 30 minutes after the program start time. All programs are cash only.

COVID-19 Protocols for Public Programs:

 Face coverings
Visitors are required to wear a face covering upon entering the building and in all shared spaces inside the facility, including the dressing rooms. Face coverings can be removed immediately prior to entering the ice surface, while participating in the program, but must be returned immediately after exiting the ice surface and re-entering the dressing room/facility.
 Screening and contact tracing

Please complete the screening tool for each person entering the building. Please be prepared to answer COVID-19 related questions for each member of your household attending the Arena facility.

 Proof of vaccination
Proof of vaccination required for all public program participants ages 12 years and older. Limited exemptions apply. Please contact Management for further information.
 Access
Access to dressing rooms, washrooms, and showers permitted.

Participants must exit the facility within 30 mins after their program end time to allow for sanitization of the dressing rooms prior to the next user.

Public skating

Our public skating is a drop-in, lap-style skate open to all ages and abilities. Adult supervision is required for participants aged 10 and under. Supervised by skate-patrol staff. Get active with friends and family and try a public skate today!

Parents and tots skating

Looking for a fun activity with your toddler? Join us for our parents and tots skating program - a great way to introduce your child to skating in a fun and safe environment. This program is for preschool children (ages 6 and under) accompanied by on-ice supervision of an adult. Not supervised by skate-patrol staff.

Drop-in figure skating

Our ticket ice program is for figure skaters of all ages and coaches only. This is an affordable way to access ice-time and practice your figure skating skills. Skaters must be accompanied by a coach.

Drop-in hockey programs

Get together with friends for a pick-up game of hockey. Try one of our drop-in hockey times.

Stick and puck

This drop-in program is perfect for skill development for children 12 years of age and under. All children must be supervised by an adult o. This is a great way to practice your hockey skills in a safe and friendly environment.

Adult Shinny

Are you over the age of 18 and looking to play some pick-up hockey with friends? Try our shinny hockey program! This program is for adults of all skill levels - beginners welcome! Nets are provided. Up to 20 players and 2 goalies may play on a first-come, first-served basis. No pre-registration is required.
