Group Gathering Limits Reduced By Provincial Government

Group size limited to 25 people

As of Sept. 19th, Ontario has lowered limits for unmonitored and private social gatherings across Ontario to a maximum of 10 people indoors (previous limit of 50) or 25 people outdoors (previous limit of 100).

Township of Uxbridge Takes Additional Cost-Cutting Measures

Council, in a Special Council meeting on June 26th, approved several cost-cutting measures recommended by staff. These cost cutting measures will help the Township offset revenue reductions and losses due to COVID-19.

Township of Uxbridge Announces Further Openings

Beginning Monday, June 22nd, the Township of Uxbridge office will re-open to the public. The offices will be open Monday to Friday between 8:30am to 4:30pm.

In order to protect the public and staff, some changes are in effect:

  • All visitors to Town Hall will be screened prior to entry and must wear a face mask while at the facility.

Township of Uxbridge Cancels Summer Camp Programming

All Township of Uxbridge summer day camps have been cancelled. The difficult decision was made based on advice from provincial and public health officials. The Township is unable to operate current camp offerings under the Ministry of Health’s guidelines for summer day camps.  The top priority for camp is the health and safety of participants, employees, and our greater community.
