Uxbridge Urban Provincial Park Photo Contest Now Open

The Township of Uxbridge and the Uxbridge Fall Fair want to see your best photos taken in Uxbridge Urban Provincial Park! Visit Uxbridge Urban Provincial Park between now and September 4th, take a photo and submit it to the Fall Fair photo competition for a chance to win a great prize.

The contest is open to all ages and the deadline for entry is Sept. 4, 2025. For rules and entry information visit www.uxbridgefair.ca and look under “Competitions”.

Heat Warning Issued for Uxbridge and Durham Region July 5-6th

Environment Canada issued a heat warning commencing July 5th – 6th for the Township of Uxbridge and the surrounding area. Daytime maximum temperatures are expected to be near 31 degrees Celsius with humidex values near 40.

Residents seeking relief from the heat may visit the Uxbridge Public Library during regular business hours. Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

The Splash Pad is also open daily from 9:00a.m.-9:00p.m.

The Township of Uxbridge is launching a new Swim & Skate Pass Lending Program to increase access to recreational opportunities for local residents.
