Nonquon and Smith bridge replacements in the townships of Scugog and Uxbridge

The Regional Municipality of Durham will begin construction of the bridge replacements over the Nonquon River and Pefferlaw Creek in the townships of Scugog and Uxbridge. The limits of the work include Reach Street between Highway 12/7 and Marsh Hill Road and Sandford Road between Concession Road 2 and Concession Road 3.

The Regional Municipality of Durham is proposing to reconstruct Concession Road 7 (Regional Road 1) from 200 metres south of Sandford Road (Regional Road 11) to 400 metres north of Ashworth Road, and from 100 metres south of Foster Drive to Harrison Drive, in the Township of Uxbridge.

Volunteers and representatives from the Provincial Government gathered at Herrema Fields in Uxbridge on May 10th to participate in the fifth annual Provincial Day of Action on Litter.
