One of the key objectives outlined in the Downtown Revitalization Strategic Plan & Action Plan is the establishment of a downtown that is pedestrian focused, and that actively supports inclusion and accessibility. Township to Issue a Request for Proposal for Potential Rail Operators

In June of 2024, the Township of Uxbridge issued a Request for Expression of Interest (RFEI) to ascertain interest by train operators in operating a tourism heritage rail operation in Uxbridge. Given the sufficient interest received by the RFEI application deadline, coupled with added feedback from rail operators, the Township will now issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to fully assess and evaluate potential rail operators.
