Two New Miyawaki-style Forests Coming to Uxbridge!

The Township of Uxbridge is proud to partner with the Rotary Club of Uxbridge to announce two new tree planting initiatives implementing the Miyawaki method, which was used to install the first mini forest at the Fields of Uxbridge last year.

Tree Debris Clean-up Update

Tree debris clean-up crews continue their diligent work in both rural and urban areas. The Township appreciates residents' cooperation and patience throughout this process.

Residents who placed storm-related debris at the curb by the April 13 deadline can expect collection to occur shortly. Please note that the curbside placement deadline has now passed, and no new debris should be placed at the roadside.

Whitby, Ontario – Starting today, the Region of Durham Paramedic Services (RDPS) and Oshawa Central Ambulance Communications Centre (CACC) are implementing the Medical Priority Dispatch System (MPDS) to enhance how 9-1-1 medical emergencies are assessed and how paramedic services are deployed in the region.
