Uxbridge Arena Launches Themed Public Skate Nights This Fall

The Township of Uxbridge is excited to announce a brand-new lineup of Themed Public Skate Nights at the Uxbridge Arena, running from October 31 through December 27. Each week offers a fresh theme, lively music, and plenty of fun for skaters of all ages.

The series kicks off on October 31 with a Halloween Haunt Skate and continues every Friday night through the holiday season. Skaters are encouraged to dress up according to the theme and join in the fun!

When the Clocks Change So Should the Batteries in Your Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm 2025

On November 2, 2025, clocks will fall back one hour at 2am. With the time change, the Uxbridge Fire Department recommends that residents not only change their clocks, but also their batteries in all smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.

For your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms to work efficiently the batteries must be replaced for new ones at least once a year. Changing your batteries during the time change is an easy way to remember and stay on track of when you last changed your batteries.
