The Township of Uxbridge’s 2024/2025 Operating Budget and 10 Year Capital Investment Plan were approved by the Finance Committee on January 18, 2024, after an in-depth review and considerable deliberations by the Finance Committee over the past few months. Council adopted the 2024/2025 Budget based on the recommendation of the Finance Committee, at the Council Meeting on February 12, 2024.

Township Lifts Significant Weather Event Advisory – Feb. 16

Improved weather conditions have aided Township Road maintenance crews as they work to clear roads, sidewalks and parking lots. As a result, the Township is lifting the advisory of a Significant Weather Event that was declared on February 15, 2024.

Drivers and pedestrians are still urged to be cautious due to icy conditions. Please drive according to the road conditions.

In-town bus route provides continual service to popular locations

Effective Tuesday, January 2, 2024, Durham Region Transit launched the new 605 route operating in Uxbridge. The new route was launched based on ridership data from the On-Demand service and on feedback received from public consultation in Uxbridge.

Township Declares Significant Weather Event Due to Heavy Snow Accumulation – Feb. 15th, 2024

Based on the heavy snowfall, the Township wishes to advise residents that roads may be snow covered and slippery. Residents are asked to drive according to the weather conditions.

Roads, sidewalks and parking lots will be cleared as soon as crews are able to address them.
