Convenient Curbside Christmas Tree Collection in January

When the holidays are over, Durham Region will provide its annual curbside collection of natural Christmas trees, to be composted with leaf and yard waste.

In Uxbridge, Christmas tree collection will take place on Monday, January 4 and Monday, January 11 only.

Unfavourable weather conditions may delay collection; please leave trees out for collection on your scheduled date. Residents are encouraged to sign up for weekly reminders and service alerts by downloading the Durham Region Waste App...

DRT Schedule Enhancements for 2021

Beginning Monday, January 4, 2021, DRT routes will receive schedule enhancements to better meet GO train schedules, as well as the new 901B connecting the Oshawa Centre to the North Campus Terminal, via Simcoe Street, and new late night routes 403C and 980 serving industrial areas. The following routes will be affected:
