Everyone deserves a roof over their head and warmth this winter, which is why the Region of Durham provides shelter programs and a Winter Warming Plan to support unsheltered residents.

Former Mayor Gerri Lynn O’Connor was in the spotlight on January 11th at a special tribute to recognize her many contributions to the community during her 34 years of public service.

Trail opens Monday, January 9th at Uxbridge Secondary School
With the winter months upon us, many residents look forward to staying active while at the same time staying warm. The Township of Uxbridge offers an indoor walking trail at Uxbridge Secondary School on Monday and Wednesday evenings to provide a safe and accessible fitness opportunity throughout the winter season. The Township of Uxbridge is looking for community members to volunteer on an Advisory Committee or Board for the 2022-2026 term of Council.
