Uxbridge Fire Department Holds Training Exercises Aug. 18-20th

The Uxbridge Fire Department, along with the Fire Services of Brock and Scugog, will be conducting joint live-fire training exercises at the rear of the fire station between 8:00am and 5:00pm on Friday August 18th, Saturday August 19th, and Sunday August 20th using the Ontario Fire College’s Mobile Live Fire Training Unit (MLFTU).

• Council Permits Road Closure for Dinosaur Event
  Council heard a request from YDHR to close a section of Railway St. at Spruce St. for two weeks in August to facilitate a Dinosaur festival. Council approved the road closure but requested completion of additional requirements and paperwork before the event can proceed as planned.
