Township Advances Downtown Revitalization Vision

After speaking to their lawyer during a confidential portion of today’s council meeting, the Township Council has approved a report to update by-law resolutions allowing progress on the Downtown Revitalization project. Council prioritizes this effort and will share more information as it becomes available.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, in partnership with the area municipalities, is inviting residents to drop off items for reuse, recycling and safe disposal.
When and where:
- Saturday, September 21 from 8 a.m. to noon (rain or shine), Lakeview Park (parking lot), Kluane Avenue, Oshawa

Whitby, Ontario – Curbside Giveaway Day is back. Curbside Giveaway Day is an event organized in co-operation with the local area municipalities, where residents can place unwanted items in good condition—clearly marked as “Free”—on their curb for anyone to pick up. At the end of the Curbside Giveaway Day, residents return unclaimed items to their home.
